Is the Burwell Program an alternative school? No. Students who attend the Burwell Program are not students who are in legal trouble within or outside the school setting.

Is the Burwell Program a private or residential school? No. The Burwell Program receives funding from the State of Georgia like other public school systems. The students who attend the Burwell Program are public school students being served within the continuum of special education.

What is the cost? There is no cost for your child to attend the program.

What is GNETS? The Georgia Network for Educational and Therapeutic Support (GNETS) is comprised of 24 programs which support the local school systems’ continuum of services for students with disabilities age 3-21.
